The Nirmaan Charity Badminton Tournament, organized by Nirmaan Organization, reaffirms our commitment to empower underprivileged girls across India by providing them with access to quality education and the opportunities they deserve.
Through this tournament, we bring together badminton athletes across ages to compete not only for victory but also for a cause that truly matters.
In the knockout stage, also known as a single-elimination format, players compete in matches where the loser is eliminated from the tournament and the winner advances to the next round.
Here's how it works following the group stage you described:
So, the knockout stage is a series of matches where each match eliminates one player, and only the winners proceed until the final winner is determined.
Only 200 registrations are allowed, ensuring a competitive and high-quality event.
The tournament will feature Singles and Doubles across Under 15 (born October 2011 or later), Under 18 (born October 2008 or later), and Open (18 years and above) categories for boys, girls, men, and women.
The Under 15 and Under 18 categories are open to junior participants, while the Open category welcomes players aged 18 and above.
Registration fees: ₹600 for Singles and ₹900 for Doubles.
A participant can enroll in both formats ( singles and doubles), registering separately for each.
The last date for registration is 25th October, 2026.
Participants should report 30 minutes Before the Event starts.
Non-marking shoes are mandatory to play. Participants can either bring their own Badminton Racquets and Non-Marking shoes or they can avail it on rent at the venue @Rs. 200/- + 18% GST per item up to 4 hours on the day of the event.
Participants should carry a valid ID and Aadhar Proof to the tournament. School ID is valid for minor participants.
Mavis 350 shuttlecocks will be provided for all matches by the organizers.
Participants must adhere to the rules of the game and show respect to umpires, fellow players, and event staff.
In the event of any disputes, the umpires decision will be final and binding.
Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements and expenses.
Participants are advised to consult a physician if they have any pre-existing health conditions before participating in the event.
By participating in the tournament, participants agree to allow Nirmaan and its partners to use photographs and videos of the event for promotional purposes.
