The Nirmaan Charity Badminton Tournament, organized by Nirmaan Organization, reaffirms our commitment is to empower underprivileged girls across India by providing them with access to quality education and the opportunities they deserve.
Through this tournament, we bring together badminton athletes across ages to compete not only for victory but also for a cause that truly matters.
In a knockout stage, also known as a single-elimination format, players compete in matches where the loser is eliminated from the tournament and the winner advances to the next round.
Here's how it works following the group stage you described:
So, the knockout stage is a series of matches where each match eliminates one player, and only the winners proceed until the final winner is determined.
Only 120 registrations are allowed, ensuring a competitive and high-quality event.
The tournament will feature Singles and Doubles in the Under 15 (Oct 2009), Under 18 (October 2006) and Open (18 years & above) categories for boys, girls, men and women.
There will be 2 age groups under each category - under 15 and under 18
The last date for registration is 9th November, 2024.
A participant can enroll in both categories ( singles and doubles), registering separately for both.
Participants should report 30 minutes Before the Event starts.
Participants must bring their own rackets and non-marking shoes . They should be dressed in sportswear for the tournament.
Participants should carry ID & Aadhar Proof to the tournament. School ID is valid for minor participants.
Perfly PSE900 shuttlecocks will be provided for all matches by the organizers.
Participants must adhere to the rules of the game and show respect to umpires, fellow players, and event staff.
In the event of any disputes, the umpires decision will be final and binding.
Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements and expenses.
Participants are advised to consult with a physician if they have any pre-existing health conditions before participating in the event.
By participating in the tournament, participants agree to allow Nirmaan and its partners to use photographs and videos of the event for promotional purposes.
