What is the purpose of the Nirmaan Charity Badminton Tournament?

The tournament is organized to raise funds for the education of underprivileged girls, helping empower them and contribute to their future success.

This tournament will feature Singles and Doubles events in the Under 15, Under 18, and Open (18 years & above) categories for boys, girls, men, and women. Players can choose to compete in singles or doubles categories or both.

There are 6 tournament categories:

  • ➤ Open Singles

There are 3 age groups under each category:

  • ➤ Under 15 (Oct 2009)
  • ➤ Under 18 (Oct 2006)
  • ➤ Open (18 years & above)

The entry fee is ₹500 for singles and ₹800 for doubles (per team).

Registration for Minors: Upon registration form filling, an acknowledgement email will be sent to the provided email address of parents. Nirmaan team will review the details and in case all details are in line, the confirmation email will be sent to the email address shared in the form. In case of any errors in the registration form, Nirmaan team will contact the number shared in the form for rectifications/ revisions and if the errors are not rectified within 3 days, the registration will stand canceled and the registration fees will be refunded within 7-10 working days. The tournament will be limited to 120 registrations to ensure smooth scheduling and execution. Slots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

No, each participant can only participate in one category (either singles or doubles).

Yes, participants must bring their own rackets and non-marking shoes. Perfly PSE900 shuttlecocks will be provided during the tournament. They should be dressed in sportswear for the tournament.

Refreshments will be provided by the organizers. Participants should bring their own lunch.

Yes, winners and runners-up in each category will receive trophies, medals, and certificates. All participants will receive a certificate.

In the event of any disputes, the umpire’s decision will be final.

Yes, parents, school staff, and other supporters are welcome to attend and cheer for the participants. Entry to the venue is free for all spectators.

No, participants are responsible for their own travel expenses.

All funds raised from the tournament will go toward Nirmaans initiatives to provide educational resources, scholarships, and support for underprivileged girls.
